Yvonne Mes is a picture book author and illustrator from the Netherlands who lives in Brisbane, Australia. She writes and illustrates stories for children with curious minds.

Yvonne is an experienced early childhood professional who has worked with children of all ages, many backgrounds and abilities.
As an author and illustrator, she frequently speaks at festivals and schools and enjoys sharing her love of story and art with children. She loves being part of the creative community and likes to support other authors and illustrators. At the moment she is studying for a Master of Arts in Writing and Literature.
