Carol Gordon Ekster grew up in Brooklyn, New York. After graduating Boston University and getting a Master’s degree in reading and language she was a passionate elementary school teacher for 35 years. At the end of her career she began writing unexpectedly. Now retired, if she’s not doing yoga, aerobics or having grandson-time, she’s immersed in her writing life. Her two most recent titles, published in 2022 and 2023 are SOME DADDIES and TRUCKER KID. She’s collected about 2,000 rejections in the 20 years she has been writing. She lives in Andover, MA with her husband of 50 years.
