Jenna Pocius

Jenna Pocius

A little bit about Jenna from Red Fox Literary‘s website:

“Agent Jenna Pocius of Red Fox Literary has a background in children’s editorial and is also a children’s book author. During her time as an editor she acquired everything from board books to YA novels, and many of her books have gone on to receive numerous starred reviews and awards, including The Wonderful Habits of Rabbits by Douglas Florian and the Behind the Legend series.

Jenna is looking for character-driven novels with strong voice and world-building, clever picture book texts with heart, and nonfiction that sheds light on little-known but significant stories. She is also a sucker for animal stories, especially dogs.”

Here’s what Jenna is looking for in picture books:

“I’m looking for picture books with STEM connections, stories that highlight diversity and female empowerment in organic ways, and texts with strong emotional arcs and writing.  I’m not looking for alphabet or counting books, or poetry collections. “

Natascha Morris 200x300Natascha Morris

A little bit about Natascha from the BookEnds Literary website:

Natascha Morris spent most of her childhood in a leather chair with her nose in a book. Formerly an editorial assistant at Simon & Schuster, her passion for books across genres and her desire to find amazing talent drove her to make the transition from editorial to literary agent at BookEnds Literary.

Her editorial philosophy stems from the idea that all books should be well written and entertaining. Some of her favorite authors include Molly Idle, Sherwood Smith, Ann Rinaldi, Sabaa Tahir, and Meg Cabot. A Texas native, Natascha can often be found hunting for the best Tex-Mex in New York. Outside of reading, she is interested in urban farming and cooking.

Natascha is looking for artists that speak to her creatively.”

Here is what Natascha is looking for in picture books today:

“I am looking for quirky, humorous picture books with a commercial hook and narrative nonfiction. I’m trying to steer clear of quieter picture books at the moment.”

Natascha was a Featured Agent in 2017. You can see her previous profile post HERE. Below are a few more updated resources for Natascha:
