Do You Want to Write 12 Picture Books in 12 Months? | Learn More!

12 x 12 September 2024 Check-In!

Hey everyone! As we enter the final quarter of 2024, I want you to take a moment to appreciate everything you have done this year. Even if you’re not on track to win the Challenge (I’m not, alas), I can guarantee that if you are reading this post right now, you are making progress! Let yourself appreciate yourself!

As for me, by some miracle I actually did write a new draft this month. I got a sudden spark of inspiration and wrote it in a single sitting. It needs lots of work, but I’m excited to get to work on it.

What about you?

  • Did you complete a draft of a new picture book story in September?
  • Did you complete a revision of a previous picture book manuscript in September?
  • Did you post a review of a 12 x 12 member book on Amazon, GoodReads, or Barnes and Noble?
  • Did you request that your local library purchase a 12 x 12 member’s book that they don’t currently have in circulation?

Let us know in the Rafflecopter and the comments.

September Featured Author Margaret Chiu Greanias is offering one lucky 12 x 12 member a choice of a copy of HOOKED ON BOOKS or a critique on a non-rhyming, fiction picture book manuscript of 700 words or less.
