Well, it’s the scariest day of the year with a Blue Full Moon to boot! Everyone stay safe out there! Luckily writers usually have lots of chocolate on hand. 😉
I didn’t write a new draft this month, but I completed two MAJOR revisions, so I’m feeling good about the progress given the dumpster-fire of a world we’re living in right now. I am going to try very, very hard to write something new in November. It feels like maybe I just might get enough headspace with these other revisions out of the way.
Tell us your progress. Did you complete a draft and/or revision in October? Let us know in the Rafflecopter and in the comments. October Featured Author Rina Singh is offering one lucky 12 x 12 member two books—Grandmother School and Holi Colors!

Love the bright colors on the book covers!
October has been a rough month, but I wrote a draft and revised. November is going to be challenging. So many things happening too quickly. Wishing everyone well.
Miraculously, I completed a draft and made several revisions. Not saying the draft is any good but I did it.
What a long month. I’ll be glad when the drama is behind us and writing is not so competitive with everything else on my daily agenda. I did revise and wrote a Halloween story.
Grandmother school looks like a great concept!
Thanks for a great post!
WHERE is the time going? I can’t believe October is over! Wow. Happy rest of the year, everyone!
Congratulations to Rina! These covers are gorgeous – the colors really grab me and both titles are compelling.
October has been a grim month – both in the world and closer to home. I wrote nothing over the last week of the month, so never finished my “new draft” – first time I’ve missed a month in almost 3 years. I did do some revisions, and also took part in a Picture Book course run by Write Mentor, which has been brilliant and got my head into a writing space for at least some focused time. Whilst I’m upset that I didn’t get that first draft done, I am not beating myself up too much, because family always takes priority above everything else – and it’s likely to be the case for the next few months, when I think that it’ll be a case of squeezing some little bits of writing time in here and there, as and when I can.
I finished revising…for now! I’m doing webinars as well. Thanks Julie!
I barely eked out a primordial draft, but I think it could turn into something good.
Another
Another good month for me! I wrote a new draft and revised several other ones.
I spent a lot of time at my computer in October so was able to write a new draft and revise another. I even made some submissions!
Completed one new draft and one revision!
