WOW! I’m so far behind I didn’t think the end of the month was until tomorrow (hence, the lateness of the post).
I will tell you the truth. I am so fried I have no idea whether I wrote or revised a draft this month, and I’m too tired to go look at my badges. Seriously. Having said that, I’m still happy with November because I got a LOT of necessary work done. Specifically, although we’re still a teensy bit short of the total goal, we are fully funded to give six 12 x 12 scholarships again in 2018. In a month focused on gratitude, I am always amazed and grateful for the generosity of this community.
I can’t believe we only have one month left of the challenge this year. Somehow, the time seems to go by faster every year. But, this year has been special in ways I didn’t expect and couldn’t predict (more on that soon). I am grateful for each and every one of you and all the ways you contribute to our community and beyond. You lift me up. Truly.
Now it’s your turn!
Tell us your progress. Did you complete a draft and/or revision in November? Let us know in the Rafflecopter and in the comments. Our prize comes from this month’s Featured Author Carter Higgins. One lucky winner will get a picture book manuscript critique!
Here is what you need to do to check in for a chance to win:
- See the Rafflecopter widget at the end of this post that says “A PB Critique from Carter Higgins“ at the top.

- That’s it! Rafflecopter will track your points.
You have until midnight Eastern on December 3rd to enter your results. Rafflecopter will draw a winner and it will be announced on the blog on December 4th.
(Remember, monthly draft and revision badges are awarded separately from your Rafflecopter entry. Watch this handy tutorial to find out how to get your badges. CLICK HERE.)

I so enjoyed your article…
My brain is fried too! And Dec’s writing goals seem to be just as frazzled as November’s. I just get mad when I don’t write, so I think a new year’s goal will be to clean less & feed the soul more 🙂
I was all too happy to’ve written a new draft this month, as I didn’t for either September OR October. I was beginning to worry my muse was dead. Looking forward to rounding out the year w/ one more–good luck w/ December, everyone!
Yes. Time is too fleeting and I feel it. I’m looking forward to new beginnings, but need to wrap up some of 2017. I wrote my draft for November and did several revisions. I’m going to try and keep “frazzle” to a simmer-LOL
Whew! thanks Julie
Thanks for The supportive Friday dancing parties.
I can’t believe this year of 12 x 12 is almost over! It has been a wonderful year of webinars, writing, revising and learning.
It has been an amazing year, Andrea! I love our 12×12 community, and all of the resources that we share!
I wrote a few drafts this month. Hitting the holidays running, to finish out an amazing year!
Thanks for this encouraging post.
Wait…what? It’s December already? What happened to 2017? Thanks, Julie, for a great year!
Pam
It doesn’t seem possible that today is the second day of December… before you know it, it will be Christmas!
This has been another busy month for me… what with writing and revising manuscripts in between new medical issues that have cropped up, which of course means new meds…YUCK!!!
I revised 4 of my old PB manuscripts along with beginning the revisions on another my chapter books.
I also wrote a new PB and have sketched out ideas for another one… this may turn into a series… we’ll have to see how it goes
I revised a draft and I’m much happier with the result, though probably not done revising yet!
