May indeed has been a whirlwind month. Writing every day is key for me, even if for 15 minutes.
I wrote a new draft this month! I also started on another draft but only have the overall concept and intro. It’s been productive!
It was a whirlwind month for sure. My youngest son got married on the 21st, and I am trying to finish up a book I have been working on this month before the day ends!
I wrote a new draft this month and revised it. It came into my thoughts while I was eating dinner. What a quick moving month.
Big Beach Clean-Up is the only summer inspiration I need.
Yes! May was a whirlwind month. When May arrives and ends, I know the rest of the year is going to zip on out of here. I take advantage of each day, though. I wrote a new draft and I revised a couple of other drafts. I’m looking forward to June!
On top of my ongoing medical issues I am now faced with trying to find 2 new Home Health Aids. One I had to let go as she never showed up when she said she would and then slacked off and did not finish her jobs… the other one is out of commission and under medical treatment which entails 6 weeks of daily IV antibiotics and then possibly surgery which may include amputation. Even with my life in a turmoil, I did manage to revise an old manuscript and write a draft of an old Storystorm idea
Whew! Spent most of May trying to conjure narrative and character arcs for my WIPs, but it all paid off! Thanks 12×12 for the motivation to polish our way through the tough spots to make our stories shine!
May was a bit stop/start for me … loads of revisions at the start of the month, then got pulled away to deal with some family stuff, but got back into things in the last week and managed to squeak in a new draft which I’m chuffed about!
The Big Beach Clean Up looks like a great book. I love clean up the earth type books!
Revised a draft and also wrote a new one. This was while completing some rather involved writing courses, too. Yipee!!
This was a tough month of illness. I managed to revise, but could not concentrate on a new idea.
A tough month for me, I revised but could not concentrate on a new idea.
I revised, but drew a blank on a new idea.
I did manage two new ideas in May and one converted into a draft. Regular revision with a writing partner.
May WAS a whirlwind! How did it even go so fast? Congratulations on all the big events!
I am SO ready for a day at the BEACH and for this book! Thank you for sharing!
This has been a difficult month for me regarding my writing. I got nothing done. Hoping June will be a better one. I have a new idea for a first draft. That gives me some hope.
I ended up subbing a ton in May – trying to get in as many hours as I could before summer break. But the kids in 3rd grade inspired me and together we did a little world-building for a new ms I wrote. My dream is to dedicate it to them if it ever gets published!
