This is the time of year to celebrate good news and 12 x 12 has so much to celebrate! Read on for new 12 x 12 books, agent signings, LOTS of book deals, and some awesome awards! If you have good news in any of these categories, be sure to let us know by filling out the Good News form in the Important Announcements section of the 12 x 12 forum.
All of today’s good news was submitted before December 1st. If you submitted news after December 1st, it will be included in our January post. Be sure to have your good news submitted by the 1st of the month for inclusion in that month’s Good News Post.
Easy ways to help 12 x 12 members and their books:
- Click on the “Click to Tweet” links to share on Twitter and get the word out about these books on social media.
- Submit a request to your local library to carry these books.
- Consider purchasing these books from your local independent bookstore.
- Write reviews on Amazon, GoodReads, and B&N. (You can review in these places even if you didn’t buy the book there!)

In this season of joy, we pause to celebrate all of the amazing and joyful moments in the lives of these creatives; the authors and the illustrators whose stories bring joy to the young children in the world. These books allow the child to see that he or she is not alone in this life journey, that others have walked these paths before them. Congratulations to all who have signed with agents, and are starting a new phase in their lives. Happy Book Birthdays to the rest! And for all who continue to write and draw and weave your stories for children, rest in the knowledge that your gifts of love touch those near and dear, but with persistence and creativity will soon resonate with others as your stories jump off the pages and into a child’s heart.
