Tuesday 12 x 12 – Shelley Smithson

Tuesday 12 x 12 - Shelley Smithson

Please welcome today’s Tuesday 12 x 12 guest, Shelley Smithson, a fellow Michigander. I love Shelley’s realization that there is no “typical” writer. We’re all unique and have stories to write only we can tell. Writing is indeed a “calling.” Thank you, Shelley, for sharing your journey with us! The 12 x 12 writing challenge has […]

Tuesday 12 x 12 - Heidi Yates

Today’s Tuesday 12 x 12 post comes to us from Heidi Yates. As writers, staying motivated, especially during the ‘down’ times, is key. We always need to stay connected to inspiration, and Heidi gives us practical tools to do just that by reaching back, staying  present, and moving forward. Then we can embrace this writing journey […]

Tuesday 12 x 12 – Jarmila del Boccio

What can I say about Jarmila del Boccio? Jarm was an inaugural 12 x 12 member and I am humbled to read how 12 x 12 has helped her grow and develop as a writer. Jarm perfectly summarizes the many serendipitous ways members have made connections in their careers and their lives. Thank you, Jarm, for […]

Tuesday 12 x 12 – M. Elizabeth Gage

I confess, today’s post from M. Elizabeth Gage got me a little teary. Writing can be lonely, and I’m sure we’ve all felt alone in the writing wilderness at one time or another. After all, writing is just you and your computer (or maybe a pencil and paper if you’re feeling old school ;-). So, how […]

Tuesday 12 x 12 – Peter Dargatz

Tuesday 12 x 12 - Peter Dargatz

Today’s Tuesday 12 x 12 post comes to us from Peter Dargatz. Reading Peter’s post reminded me of the main reason I started 12 x 12. The desire to increase my output of writing.  Many of you have had that moment that gives meaning to your passion for writing, as Peter talks about below, but sometimes […]
